Open Call: ABS Digital Art Prize 2026
We’re happy to support the Open Call for the Arab Bank Switzerland Digital Art Prize 2026 !
For the first time since its inception in 2023, the prize unfolds within a curated thematic exhibition, presented inside NFC Summit 2026 in Lisbon.
💰 Prize: USD $10,000 + acquisition of an artwork for the ABS collection
📅 Application deadline: May 3, 2026
📍 Exhibition: June 4–6 // Unicorn Factory Lisboa
The call is open to artists worldwide whose practices operate within contemporary digital and technological contexts.
The exhibition: SYSTEMS
This year’s exhibition takes place within the former Fabrica de Moagem da Manutenção Militar — a historically intact industrial flour mill in Lisbon where large parts of the original production infrastructure remain embedded in the architecture.
This industrial infrastructure serves as both inspiration and setting.
SYSTEMS considers how artistic practices engage with systems that organize transformation — from algorithmic procedures and generative grids to trained models, blockchain-based registries, financial mechanisms, semiotic structures, or simulated environments.
Curated by Nina Roehrs, the exhibition brings this year’s finalists into dialogue with works by Kim Asendorf, Viktoria Binschtok, Jack Butcher, Linda Dounia, Andreas Gysin, Larva Labs, Cezar Mocan, Operator, Helena Sarin, and Paul Seidler.
