Starting this week, every one of those 500 tickets also comes with something new: your own NFC Yearbook. One of 500 unique printed books, made with Alpha Labs, handed to you in Lisbon on May 27, the first day of NFC Summit 2027.

200 are already taken. 300 left, until October 30.

WHAT IS THE YEARBOOK

A real book, filled with the autographs of the people you meet along the way: artists, collectors, friends. No two books are the same, because no two people collect the same signatures.

From November, you get your yearbook in digital form first. You ask the others on the wall to sign it, they sign it from their phone or their computer, and every autograph is recorded on-chain, so it is yours for good.

On April 1, all the books are sealed. On May 27, we hand you yours, printed, with every autograph you collected.

Discover the NFC Yearbook

Amir, who built it with his team over the last three years, said it best on our live show: “We could collect coins, stamps, cards. The one thing we couldn’t ever collect were the people.”

Watch the full announcement with Amir on People of the Wall, our daily live show

500 NAMES, 500 BOOKS

The yearbook is only for the people on the wall. There is no other way to get one, not even with a regular ticket bought later.

When the wall closes on October 30, the list of yearbooks closes with it.

YOUR EARLY BIRD TICKET

• Three days at NFC Summit 2027, May 27 to 29, Unicorn Factory, Lisbon

• Your name, hand-painted on the wall of the venue

• Your own printed NFC Yearbook

130 euros by card, or 0.06 ETH. One price, until October 30.

Claim one of the 300 remaining

Prefer to pay by card? Same ticket, same name on the wall, same yearbook, on Eventbrite.

Already on the wall? Your yearbook is coming. Nothing to do until October 31, we will tell you when it opens.

See you in Lisbon,

John

The first episode of People of the Wall, The Daily: the live show where the people whose names are on the ON THE WALL mural take the stage. Every day at 4 PM Lisbon time until October 30.

John opens by explaining ON THE WALL, the campaign that funds NFC Summit 2027. It’s a giant virtual mural where anyone can write their name on-chain for 0.06 ETH. Your name gets painted on a real wall at the venue in Lisbon, you get a networked NFT, early access before NFC opens, and a set of perks for holders. There were already 133 names on the wall at recording time.

Joana introduces herself: she’s from Lisbon, was founding curator at the Seattle NFT Museum, worked at Art Blocks and Foundation, is now Community Manager at Right Click Save, and is working on a new art venture that hasn’t been announced yet. She also runs the (now legendary) NFC Fado dinner. Her part of the wall is filling up fast, since she asked her friends on X to take the spots next to hers.

Mrs Richi talks about JPEG Frens, Mr Richi’s new art-focused PFP collection, which mints on September 23:

9,125 Frens, 2,000+ traits, Mr Richi’s classic street style

Price ≈ $9.99 per Fren, paid in ETH on mint day, on OpenSea

A burn mechanic that makes the collection deflationary: burn 5 Frens for a Rare, 10 for a Legendary, 15 for the top tier. The supply should end up around 8,000, maybe fewer

The mint opens at 7 PM CET / 6 PM Lisbon / 1 PM New York, in three 90-minute phases: OG, then Guaranteed, then the Fren Frenzy (up to 10 per wallet)

Every ON THE WALL holder is on the allowlist (snapshot taken last week)

D-Roy from SUYE (a gallery and Web3 creative hub in Amsterdam) takes us through MYO (”Mint Your Own / Make Your Own / Mind Your Own”):

777 blind-box characters in a slow, open mint (≈45% minted). Each one comes with a 3D-print file, Blender and Unity files, an optional art print, and a free Ordinal in Q4

Print your MYO anywhere in the world for a chance to win one of the 111 artist editions. A new artist joins every three weeks for 4+ years, from The London Police and Chris RWK to Super A, A Kid Called Beast, Normies and Rik Oostenbroek

Community prints are showing up all over the world, including in titanium and aluminium

The MYO Ordinal plugs into Planets, a fully 3D, interactive galaxy of 2,100 planets on Bitcoin Ordinals

SUYE also supports Vincent Mock’s Saving Jaws: a 6-meter shark made of fishing hooks, with 80% of revenue going to Sea Shepherd. You can buy a hook digitally and get the physical hook, and the goal is to show the shark in Portugal during NFC

Also minting on the same day: Nissla’s project, an on-chain CC0 derivative inspired by XCOPY. The wall is on the allowlist, and 30 holders get a free claim.

Next episode: Luc Mangin, one of the world’s leading crypto stamp collectors, on how 55 national postal services are issuing digital stamps.

EARLY BIRD, OUR WAY

The usual early bird is a countdown: buy now or pay more later. We are not doing that. The price is one price, 0.06 ETH- 130 euros. It is not free, because a festival costs money and the money is needed now, in September.
But it is not excessive either: a three day international crypto conference usually charges 600 to 700 euros for a ticket, and that ticket is all you get. So instead of a price that goes up, we made a ticket that includes more. Here is everything that is in it.

Get your ticket now

INCLUDED IN YOUR TICKET: THE FESTIVAL

Two days of NFC 2027 at Unicorn Factory, May 27 and 28, plus the final party on May 29. The talks, the parties, the people. The whole thing including all the event, most of the side events that will happen onsite, the other vertical event thaty we wil organise like the Kawaii Summit and much more…

INCLUDED IN YOUR TICKET: YOUR NAME ON THE WALL

You pick a panel, you type your name, up to 15 characters, editable until October 30. In May, a sign painter paints it by hand on the venue of NFC 2027. Not a screen, not vinyl. Paint. 170vnames are already on it, and some of them will make you look twice: Dmitri Cherniak, Kim Assendorf, Dave Krugman, Jeff Davis, Violet and Trevor Jones, Agoria, Bryan Brinkman, Serc, Danguiz, Max Pretend, Snowfro, Kevin Abosch….

You are on the same wall….

Get my name on the wall now (fiat)

Get my name (crypto)

INCLUDED IN YOUR TICKET: THE NFT THAT CONNECTS YOU

Your on-chain NFT, with your panel number and your place among everyone who joined before and after you. Your azulejo card, ready to share. A network artwork, not just a name, and a way to find out who is standing next to you.

INCLUDED IN YOUR TICKET: THE SPOTLIGHT

Not one photo, several moments. The day your name goes up on the wall, we photograph it and send it to you, and we post it. During the festival, our photographers shoot you standing in front of it. And starting Tuesday, People of the Wall goes daily: every day at 4pm Lisbon, live on X, we sit down with the people who bought a ticket and hear their story. Your slot is yours to book. This is not only a ticket, it is us backing the people who back us.

Get your name and be invited in the next space

INCLUDED IN YOUR TICKET: WHAT HAPPENS BEFORE DOORS OPEN

A private hour at the venue before NFC 2027 opens to everyone else, for the people of the wall only. Find your name, meet the others, take the photo.

INCLUDED IN YOUR TICKET: THE HOLDERS BRUNCH

A private brunch during the festival, holders only. The best conversations of NFC always happen around a table, not a stage.

INCLUDED IN YOUR TICKET: THE ALLOWLISTS AND AIRDROPS

Being on the wall is being in a club, and the club gets things. Two collections in one week already: Fortune Foes, and JPEG Frens, minting this Wednesday September 23, with every wall holder on the allowlist. Others are talking to us. Each one lands here first.

INCLUDED IN YOUR TICKET: THE SURPRISE

A post-event collectible pack we are not describing yet.

Get my early bord ticket now

NOT ON CRYPTO? THAT IS FINE TOO

You can get the exact same ticket, name on the wall included, with a normal credit card, no wallet needed. Tell us what name you want when you check out, and we take care of the rest. You will get everything by email once your name is up: your panel, your card, your photo. Get your ticket the classic way: [lien Eventbrite]

WHY GET IT NOW?

Because names freeze on October 30. The low panel numbers go first, they always do. And every airdrop snapshot only counts the names already on the wall. The price will move eventually, but not soon. It stays where it is for months and only rises in the final stretch before the festival. The wall does not wait the same way. Get your spot on it now, worry about the ticket price never. Get your ticket with a card: [lien Eventbrite] Get your ticket on-chain: onthewall.nfcsummit.com See you on the wall,

Mark the date: Thursday, midnight EST, 5am Lisbon. Every name on the wall at that moment gets access to two new partner collections.

[meet the comunity] - PEOPLE OF THE WALL GOES DAILY

Each day, you’ll meet four people from the wall. Artists, collectors, entrepreneurs. Four names, four faces, four stories worth hearing: where they come from, what they’re building, and why their name is painted on a building in Lisbon.

You don’t need to hold anything to watch. Just show up, listen, ask questions, discover who’s behind the names. Follow @NFCsummit on X and the live comes to you, every day at the same time from Tuesday 22 at 4pm lisbon time.

Every day we post the card with the four faces of the day.

Add my name on the wall

Thursday, midnight EST, 5am Lisbon. Every name on the wall at that moment gets access to two new partner collections.

[SNAPSHOT 1- TOMORROW NIGHT] - JPEG Frens, minting September 23

@wearejpegfrens is a world of 9,125 Frens created by @Richi0118, og artist and an NFC fren who’s been part of this world with us for years. A very weird JPEG universe where Frens can be burned, forged, transformed and made your own. And minting one is only the beginning of the connection between NFC and JPEG Frens.

Every “ON THE WALL” Holder will be in the snapshot and get automatically FCFS access to the mint. Want a guaranteed spot?
Fill out the short form and your wallet gets upgraded to GTD

More info :

2. SERFIES by Nissla

The collection that was never supposed to exist. 4,269 SERFIES by @nessnissla, 100% on-chain Ethereum art, CC0. A pure derivative inspired by XCOPY’s original SERFIE, no affiliation. No utility, no roadmap, no promises. Just faces, code, and a questionable amount of time spent making something that probably shouldn’t exist.

Every wallet in the snapshot goes on the SERFIES Presale list. And we shuffle: 30 wallets will be randomly selected for a free SERFIES claim. Minting soon, watch Nissla’s X for updates.

Mint now and acces snapshots

Not on the wall yet?

One name, 0.06 ETH, your 3-day ticket to NFC Summit 2027 included. Mint before Thursday midnight and you’re in the snapshot for both:

https://onthewall.nfcsummit.com

1. The first partner airdrop (Fortune Foes)

2. The first episode of People of the Wall, our weekly live stream where holders join us on air.

ON THE WALL is not an allow list NFT but…

We didn't build this for airdrops

ON THE WALL is a wall, a ticket to NFC 2027, and a list of the people who show up every year. That's all it was meant to be.

Then, this week, collections started reaching out. Their reasoning was simple: the people on that wall are real collectors, real artists, real builders, and they were already here. They want to be in front of them.

So we're saying yes, on one condition. It has to be worth something to you. No token spam, no "engage to win." Every partner lands in this newsletter first, with the snapshot date, so being on the wall early means being in every snapshot that follows.

Paint your name on the wall

THE FIRST ONE: FORTUNE FOES

Fortune Foes is a very hyped Bears vs Bulls GameFi collection on Robinhood chain. RWA x GameFi x Pixel Art IP that has been in development for multiple years.

Their launch is on September 15th, coming Tuesday. Two things for the people of the wall:
1. Every wallet in tonight's snapshot gets a Fortune Foes Allowlist spot / Bid Boosts in the auction Tuesday.
2. One of the wallets, drawn at random, will be airdropped a Genesis Heirloom. Most scarce NFT in the Fortune Foes universe (150 edition), that has immense benefits and perks including free Fortune Foes NFT and other rewards across all phases.

More collections are coming. Every one of them lands in this newsletter first, with the snapshot date. Being on the wall early means being in every snapshot.

Get in the snapshot

JOIN THE FIRST “PEOPLE OF THE WALL” EPISODE1 - TOMORROW, 6PM LISBON

Who they are, what they are building. Names minted during the show get welcomed on air. Episode 1 is tomorrow, Monday September 14, 6pm Lisbon, 1pm NYC, on the NFCsummit account.

If your name is on the wall, you are invited. Not to watch, to join. Every holder can come on and say hello, tell us about their panel, their work, whatever they want. Just DM NFCsummit before the show and we put you in. See you tonight on the wall, and tomorrow on the show!

Mint now

Mint your Name on the Wall

New dates, same venue, same rooms, same people. You can book flights and hotels now; the Lisbon spring rate window is open and it closes faster every year.

Your Ticket + The surprise is the wall.

Every previous edition of NFC was funded the standard way: a sponsor deck, a few logos, a banner that comes down on the Sunday. That never described what NFC actually is, which is a room full of people who already know each other. So for 2027 we’re doing it differently. Instead of selling the venue to brands, we’re painting the community onto it.

ON THE WALL

500 panels on the name wall at Unicorn Factory. Type your name, pick your spot, and before doors open a sign painter hand-paints it. Painted on the building, not a banner. And during the summit, every name on the wall gets an official photograph standing in front of it.

And every name comes with a ticket: three days of NFC 2027, final party included. You’re not just on the wall, you’re in the building.

0.06 ETH. Minting is open now. Positions are first come, first served, and you can change your name as many times as you like until 30 October, when everything freezes and the painter starts.

Find your Panel

Five ways in

• The Name 0.06 ETH. 500 panels, hand-lettered, ticket included

• PFP Wall 0.6 ETH. Your PFP painted at 50 × 50 cm, one of fifty

• Community Houses 9 ETH. A container in the central yard, yours for two days

• Artist Murals 15 ETH. Your artist, 4 metre wall, plus 8 VIP and 20 general admission tickets

• Flagship Mural 40 ETH. The defining artwork of NFC 2027, chosen with you

Every tier includes tickets, from 1 with a name to 70 with the flagship.

Names and PFPs are self-serve on the site. Houses, murals and the flagship go through John directly: https://t.me/thejohnkarp

Why this and not sponsorship

A sponsor pays to be seen at the venue. A participant pays to be part of it. Every name, PFP, house and mural sold this autumn lets us commission artists in 2026 instead of scrambling in 2027, which is the difference between an event built on the calendar’s terms and one built on ours.

Mint your name

SYSTEMS

Digital Art Prize / Exhibition

Held in conjunction with the 2026 Arab Bank Switzerland Digital Art Prize, SYSTEMS was a thematic exhibition that presents works by the prize’s three finalists - Gretchen Andrew, Jonas Lund, and Theo Triantafyllidis - in dialogue with a curated selection of works from the bank’s collection. Artists who submitted to the open call were invited to respond to the exhibition’s guiding theme, with submissions judged by an independent jury that included Giulia Bini, Armin Blasbichler, Abigail Miller, malte_fr, and Nina Roehrs.

Set within a former bread-production facility whose original machinery remains embedded in the architecture, the exhibition brought together practices that foreground the ubiquitous yet often invisible systems that govern what is made, seen, and valued today. Works encompass simulated worlds, miniature economies, and elaborate mechanical apparatuses, but in all cases, they are concerned less with surface outputs than the underlying processes and protocols that give rise to them.

Artists in show: Gretchen Andrew, Kim Asendorf, Jack Butcher (VV – Visualize Value), Viktoria Binschtok, Linda Dounia, Andreas Gysin and Sidi Vanetti, Larva Labs, Jonas Lund, Cezar Mocan, Operator, Helena Sarin, Paul Seidler, Snowfro x VV, Theo Triantafyllidis.

Curated by Nina Roehrs.

Digital Art Prize 2026 Winner : Gretchen Andrew

Gretchen Andrew is the winner of the ABS Digital Art Prize 2026 with the work Facetune Portraits: Universal Beauty Vietnam.

About ABS

Since 2022, Arab Bank Switzerland has been building a collection of artworks engaging with blockchain technology and digital culture. Through this commitment, the bank plays a vital role in the digital art landscape - via its growing collection, international event and exhibition activities, both at its Geneva headquarters and abroad, and the annual awarding of its art prizes - contributing meaningfully to the evolving discourse on art in the digital age and blockchain technology.

SYSTEMS was a powerful expression of that commitment - and a reminder of what happens when institutions show up for artists with intention.

Arab Bank Switzerland Digital Art Prize : Winner Announcement

Gretchen Andrew is the winner of the ABS Digital Art Prize 2026 with the work Facetune Portraits: Universal Beauty Vietnam. Congratulations!

“Gretchen Andrew’s work is timely in its examination of social and power systems and their permutations. Andrew unpacks the layers of beauty standards pressed upon us, specifically as young women. The physical delivery combines a complex system of technical research and digital tools to produce something both beautiful and visceral. Through cuts and layers of paint, she exposes what social media so often hides or subverts, revealing the manufactured perfections that lurk behind so many of the images we encounter.’’

Today, Unicorn Factory Lisboa became something else entirely. Four floors of the Art Factory came alive - from the Grand Hall to the AI Cave in the basement. The central plaza opened with Dmitri Cherniak’s large-scale LED triptych. Container galleries, tunnel murals, and solo shows filled every corner of the venue.

Artists were present throughout. Conversations happened in front of the work, not just on stage.

A huge thank you to everyone who came through today - here’s a throwback 🎬 👇

For Day 2, the Kawaii Stage moves to the Unicorn Stage - same energy, better setup.

Highlights from Day 1

OpenSea: Shipping Container Galleries & XCOPY Mural

Following the success of last year’s container galleries, OpenSea returned with two new artists.

Efdot brought new work from his GLiFS project, minting on OpenSea now.

Jiwa displayed early outputs from his upcoming project: “Art is Capital”.

Two containers. Two previews. Both worth your time.

In addition, the creative mind behind the Brooklyn NFT Wall and the Node Foundation Punk Wall, MASNAH painted a mural of XCOPY’s The Doomed near the Central Plaza.

Whether you’re an artist, designer, or just exploring, ACAI offers practical sessions for all levels. And yes, it’s kid-friendly too: ACAI Kids brings the same curiosity and hands-on spirit to younger creators.

👉 MORE ABOUT ACAI HERE

ACAI Class: for artists, designers, image-makers with Boris Eldagsen

Friday, June 5, 10:00-14:00

ACAI Class is an intensive workshop track for artists, designers, photographers and creative technologists who want to work with AI as a serious image-making tool. Led by artist Boris Eldagsen, the class moves from conversational prompting and prompt editing into multi-step workflows with generators like Seedream and Nano Banana: working with existing image material, treating AI as a virtual camera, combining in- and out-painting, and building consistent characters across sequences.

Think less “one-click magic”, more art direction: how to control mood and lighting, steer colour palettes and styles, add or remove elements, refine details through upscaling and use negative prompts, role assignments and emojis for emotional control. Expect live demos, guided exercises and prompt “sparring” that connect these techniques into repeatable pipelines.

Reserve your spot for ACAI Class at €260.75 (includes full access to NFC Summit 2026).

ACAI Kids: for young creators with Boris Eldagsen, Ender Diril, Pierre de Conihout and Seth Goldstein

Thursday, June 4, 10:00-14:00

ACAI Kids brings the same curiosity to a younger audience with age-appropriate, guided sessions on AI and creativity. From “Monsterfy Yourself!” portraits to collaborative story-building, music experiments and first encounters with AI agents, kids explore how their own ideas, drawings and photos can grow into new visual stories with AI.

Workshops are designed to be playful but transparent: children see how working with AI shapes results while their own imagination stays at the center. Each session is led by experienced practitioners who balance experimentation with clear boundaries and media literacy.

Free. Held in English. Includes full access to NFC Summit 2026.

About The AI Art Magazine

The AI Art Magazine is an independent, artist-led print publication at the intersection of art and artificial intelligence. It is conceived as a “magazine in real time”: a living archive of artistic practices and discourse engaging with machine learning, generative models, and algorithmic systems, seeking to capture a rapidly shifting cultural moment as it unfolds.

Each issue can be understood as a kind of “water sample”: it captures a specific condition, makes it visible, and opens a space for critical reflection, experimental visual thinking, and theoretical inquiry.
